Those with Experiment Station Affiliations should be receiving notices regarding your W2188 project approvals. This is a good time to mark your calendars and plan to attend the annual W2188 meeting to be held in the Desert Research Institute, Rogers Auditorium at 755 E. Flamingo, Las Vegas, NV, January 4-6, 2010. Registration fees will be paid onsite to cover breakfast, refreshments and lunch as in the past and the amount will be assessed based on the number of attendees. The travel expenses, hotel accommodations and dinners are the responsibility of each participant. Hotel information is listed below with the Hyatt Place replacing what was the Amerisuites Hotel. We will have a block of rooms reserved at the Hyatt Place but feel free to book rooms elsewhere. We will send more details regarding the block of rooms at the Hyatt Place in a few months. For the bargain hunters, the Hard Rock Hotel has the best price at Hotels.com as of today and these prices apply only for Jan. 3-6 and may not last long.
