Associate Experiment Station Specialist. January 1995 to Present. North Dakota State University Williston Research Center, Williston, ND. Responsibilities include investigation of soil and water management systems for crop production on semi-arid lands in western North Dakota and eastern Montana.
Post Doctoral Research Associate. July 1990 to December 1994. USDA-ARS North Central Soil Conservation Research Laboratory, Morris, MN. Investigated the effects of soil freezing, topography, tilalge/residue management, and application rate on the movement of soil water and the fate of applied nitrogen and atrazine.
Research Assistant. January 1985 to June 1990. University of Minnesota Southwest Experiment Station, Lamberton, MN. Dissertation research: tillage effects on spatial variations of incorporated residue, shattered-seeds, and marking tracers.
Research Assistant. September 1982 to December 1984. University of Minnesota Department of Soil Science, St. Paul, MN. Thesis research: Tillage-Crop Residue Management Models for Corn Production in Southeast Minnesota.
Laboratory Assistant. September 1981 to May 1982. St. John's University Department of Biology, Collegeville, MN. Responsibilities included the preparation, maintenance, dispensing, and sanitary disposal of stock cultures and nutrient media used in undergraduate microbiology teaching laboratory.
